Each month, chefs ages 2-10 receive a recipe that walks them through the exciting process of making dinner for the family, and relieves adult sous-chefs from the burden of guesswork by providing directions to help ensure that children will stay engaged and dinner will actually get made! Printed on waterproof, tear proof paper, the recipes are strong enough to survive trips to the grocery store and spills in the kitchen. Every recipe is seasonal, delicious and features healthy ingredients in child-appealing ways, and all include substitutions for each of the top allergens and variations that allow young chefs the joy of repeating a recipe they have mastered, while allowing the family to try a new taste.
Each month, chefs also receive colorful Table Talk activities they can use to spark lively family conversation at dinnertime!
